What's your opinion about a teacher telling a student "you come here to study, not to use washroom. So don't drink much water"?

Believe it or not, I had to hear those words yesterday and it was hurtful.

I know it had to hurt
and adult having to be reminded of something you should learn by 1st grade

Unless you have a note from Mommie you have weak kidneys
you're asked to hold it
You are given scheduled bath room and stretch breaks

"Do not disrupt my class "

And you're over 18 and that "Hurt you "?
@rckt148 And that’s why so many people are on dialysis now. A lifetime of “holding” it longer than they should have to.

or they could go regularly outside of class time. that’s what the teachers usually do. @bijouxbroussard
@DoubleRings Or they’d ask a teacher with a free period to watch their class for a moment. I was asked a couple of times. But then, we weren’t forbidding students from going to the restroom if they needed to, and I don’t remember anyone abusing it.

Never in 20 years asked a teacher to watch my room. Never been asked either. always went at lunch or recess. never had an accident. not saying i wouldn’t if i had to, but it would be a very blue moon - not 3x a day everyday. whether or not kids abuse it I’m not even opening up that debate. @bijouxbroussard
