Dilettante

it. - a person who cultivates an area of interest, such as the arts or literature, without real commitment or knowledge.

edit: there's nothing wrong with being a dilettante (unless you're ignorant about it). This is just a definition of a new word I found and thought I would write it down.

@Melpomene lol pretty good actually! I think it's cool that even though I don't have any background in any of those areas and don't know diddly about most of it.. that I am trying ... albeit in a small and not very committed way.. Some exposure to literature and the arts is better than not trying at all :)
