It's been awhile since I've had a cat. We're letting him roam the apartment and get use to it before we play with him too much. Hes a little wary of us at the moment

Let him roam, don’t know if overwhelm it with attention just yet. He’ll get comfortable pretty soon, and do show him the litter box often so it knows where to go & where food will be. Call him by his name a lot so he knows what to respond to.
