Do you think people who like to talk about politics are good at History?

People who study politics generally make good political historians because they usually look to find out why a previous president made a decision to do with they did in order to get a preferred outcome. That’s pretty standard but would your average Joe on the street be a good political historian. No and they wouldn’t care either.
