I went to a very rich school growing up. An I wasn’t rich at all. So I did get some shit for not having a big house and wearing not so expensive clothes.
My school didn’t even have high school wrestling because their parents thought it was to brutal. 🙄
everyone new I was doing Thai boxing and Brazilian jujitsu. So I was mostly left alone.
On top of that my father always told me if I was in an encounter with someone an they got within reach, to punch first or at very least tackle them down using jujitsu before they could throw the first punch. If they pick up a stick you pick up a brick.
If you think you’ll lose at least break their nose.
Make sure they know even if they win the fight they will suffer for starting it an it won’t happen again.
I know this isn’t politically correct today... I’m not so sure I’d give this advice to my kids if I had kids but it was very effective for me as I was growing up. I didn’t have to worry about bullies or fights.
