I've been involved in so many, literally hundreds. I was bullied and chased by groups/gangs. My entire school life up until i was 14 was about surviving. I never got to even fight one-on-one. The big kid always had others with him. It wasn't until i learned to take the big kid on and inflict as much pain on him as possible before he and the others beat the shit out of me that eventually they moved on to other kids who would be easier targets. It took me years to work it out though. All the adults were useless.
