Non native english speaker needs help

Hello. I need help with my english summary. It's for my final report. You'd be a kind person to help me. The following text needs te be checked/edited:

" Global warming and the growth of the world population mean that there is a serious shortage of water. Warm areas are suffering under the growth of desertification. This leads to a decrease in agricultural productivity and a shortage of drinking water, with all its consequences.
Solaq B.V. has devised a system to extract water from air in areas where water scarcity is a problem. The project that they have set up for this is called the WaterWin project. The intention of Solaq is to build a completely self-sufficient system that produces drinking water in a desert-like area. However, before they build this on a large scale, they must first know if it works. Solaq has asked CEW to reconstruct part of the construction on a laboratory scale and to validate certain parameters.
The entire system consists of a sea container, rotating pipes, a sand hill and a field with solar panels. The distillation process is located in the sand hill. There are several obliquely arranged tubes that are kept under vacuum. The sand hill itself is heated by smaller pipes. This heat is used to heat a hygroscopic liquid which flows through the larger tube in such a way that water evaporates from it. The water vapor is condensed into water through a thinner tube in the larger tube that contains cold water. Because the tube is directed in an angle, the water flows down into a funnel that pumps the water in to a storage tank.
This principle is simulated on a lab scale. A double-walled tube has been designed with lead-throughs at the end. The outer edge of the tube can be heated. Inside the tube is an electrically controlled heating plate, a condenser and a drip tray. The tube's angle is adjustable. And all parameters are monitored with sensors, which transmit data to the controller cabinet.
The water percentage in the hygroscopic liquid is determined with a density measurement. This is done before and after a test. The difference in density can be used to calculate the theoretical amount of water produced. This is checked by determining the amount of collected water in practice.
If the system works flawlessly, good validation can take place. However, the setup is currently still too experimental."
