I settled for my associates a while back, but lately I have been under pressure to try to gain a bachelors. I tried, failed twice. I've honestly had a fair amount of success without it, but I'm worried I'm getting passed over for promotions because I don't have it. I don't have enough money to even try anymore, so why bother?

If the company you work for values you and has an educational standard for promoting to upper levels make a proposal to Human Resources. Have them fund a 4 year college degree. Plenty of companies do this. The only drawback is that you will most likely have to commit to working for the company for a specific period.
