Are buttcracks normal in school?

I am an education major in college. I have been observing in some schools and I noticed some girls and some guys buttcracks were showing in class. Is this a common thing in school? Do they know it is showing? When I am a teacher, what should I do about this?

Well I always appreciated it when someone politely told me my butt crack was showing rather than laughing or letting me stay oblivious
