@MarHar99 Trading stocks and options. I just have to learn how to become profitable.

How successful would you say you are?

@MarHar99 am just learning right now. I am getting to where I make some profit but not enough to live on. Most new traders lose money the first year or two. It is more complex than it looks.

@Stereoguy What is you secret to success? I try to do more swing trading since I don't have enough to day trade yet

Whats the difference?

@MarHar99 Day trading is buying and selling the stock in one day. Swing trading is buying a stock and keeping it more then one day. but not keeping it very long.

What is it called where you buy a stock and keep it for a while and your profit increases?

I think that's a thing.

@MarHar99 Yes any profit is a win. Some trades turn bad without any warning.

So is there certain apps that you use for this. I have seen Forex and 212 Trading?

I think it could be forex although I could be wrong.

@MarHar99 Forex is way more complex trading that stocks. Before you trade any real money trade with a test account. And trade a long time before you use real money. I suggest to get a Robinhood account when you are ready to trade for real. You can get a free account with TradingView to paper trade. And their charting system is pretty awesome. @Stereoguy That is my plan too. I need to make enough to pay my bills each month. Once I reach that goal then I will quit my day job.

@Stereoguy I have three trading accounts. TD Ameritrade has $12,000 with a margin account. I have $14,000 in RobinHood account and $600 with Forex.com. So I don't have much at all.
