Who remembers wearing short trousers at school

I wore short trousers till I was nearly 14 and was the only one in my year , mother said children should be in short trousers and I had to obey her

I remember when girls couldn’t wear slacks to school. Public or parochial. Now girls have the choice to wear uniforms with slacks, which I think is cool.

@chrisCA Oh, yes. Several of my classmates did that. And the nuns would “talk” to them about it. 📏

@chrisCA The idea was to show off their legs, and alas, mine were nothing to write home about. Sister Rosa used to rebutton my top blouse button.😏
