...I assume that one is typically surrounded by Japanese students, speaking (wait for it!)...JAPANESE! Also, there would be a lot of media in the language of Japan...and many cultural influences of all kinds which one could ascribe to the Japanese.

@MysterySci Hmmm..mwell, one is typically surrounded by North Korean students, speaking (wait for it!)...the local variant of KOREAN! Also, there would be a lot of media in the language of North Korea...and many cultural influences of all kinds which one could ascribe to the North Koreans. However, you might not notice this due to being hungry, sick, etc.
