@SonicSonia We have to do that sometimes too but I don't mind as find it quite relaxing and can almost drift off to sleep! lol

@Ian123 lol Can you imagine? We are not actually allowed to go to sleep obviously but I could. It's when they make you write lines that it kills me, god I hate that soooo much!!!

My Mom drove us to Ridgland ,Jasper County South Caroline
the only state that allowed a 16 yr old to marry
I was on the delayed enlistment programs ,waiting until I turned 17
Mom and Dad figured if I could pass the Naval Battery test for the hardest branch of service to get into ,,I was wise enough to make the choice to marry ,,No one except my wife ,Mom ,myself and a justice of the peace was there

But I did go see Mr King in my dress blues ,,with my wife with me
He congratulated us and said he was proud of me for getting into the Coast Guard ,,,When I was hired as a Machinist at the Rail Road in our town before I was even discharged
He said I became part of his motivation speech's

If I could be successful ,,anyone could LOL
I had no education ,,I spent 9 yrs in the hall way LOL

But I had a grandma that made me read

@GkB01 They still make you do that if you forget your trainers in my school - if you are inside obviously! For some reason that feels really shaming too so don't know why? Just like your not fully dressed! lol

@taylaf I forgot plimsolls in first and middle school and trainers in primary, but so did lots of my classmates lol. Do you do that?

@GkB01 Nah I usually just don't bring kit or mitch the lesson to be honest!
