Ever get into a debate with someone only to realize that person has the IQ or a rutabaga?

Yeah... I thought someone brought up an interesting debate point, but were honestly misunderstanding a very important fact which changes the whole debate.
It wasn't an honest misunderstanding, they were simply dumb and were choosing to completely, totally and blindly believing the CLEARLY overstated political rhetoric of a misleading opinion, trying to make a point that the other guys were worse... as completely factual... when it's a distraction opinion.
Also had a roommate (I didn't get along with) and their friend COMPLETELY believing a biased political movie, and I told them that it uses real facts and mixes them in with opinions, to come to extreme and poor conclusion over and over... they of course didn't believe me. I'm SO happy, that the neighbor (their friend) who was smarter, came over and said the exact same thing I did, and they believed him.
