I've read about some places doing this before, and it seems like an interesting idea. Maybe they'd feel more comfortable and be ready to learn more? Would it help for gym? Thoughts?

In countries like South Africa and new zealand attending school barefoot is often encouraged and in some instances compulsory. I think this is a great attitude and should be copied throughout the world especially in the case of primary schools where the feet are still developing.
In my own experience I was only really barefoot in PE
