From the ancient Greek law giver Draco, whose written laws were said to be particularly harsh.

It’s the adjective form of dragon. So if something is draconic, it’s dragon-like.
Platoscave · F
@Dan78 so that word would correctly be more like..."draGonian"

right?
Dan78 · 46-50, M
@Platoscave No, the Latin word for dragon is Draco (or something like that).
Platoscave · F
@Dan78 So maybe the mythical beast is named after the dictator? Or vice versa?

In which case the word would be "draGonian"...Or "draGo"???

LOL
Have you not heard the phrase google it?

@PervertedPrincessOfDeath I was afraid I'd get that.

I know what it means, now I am waiting...lol

Evil multiplied as in a leader or laws made with evil intent to the citizens
Very strict, very severe

Draconian: To be cut and dry strict about a choice.
