Advantages of entering top tier elite school with/without scholarship

What are the advantages of entering a top tier elite school with/without scholarship?
i mean aside from reputation,connection,being in a diff environment/culture,you'run into ppl with a few/many diff major and finding a job will be a lot easier and ofc having to pay ur debt lol.
I'm not talking about someone from a wealthy background perspective, lets say i'm a middle-class/upper middle class background.
How about after graduation and started working, how diff is it going to be? I heard that you will get promotion a lot easier and will be ahead of ppl in your workplace, is that more or less true?
