Was college really easier back in the 90's and before, I know it was cheaper but was it easier?

There was no easy internet access back then so we didn’t have that resource or that distraction.

@SW-User Distractions are the worst I swear, if there was a procrastination class I'd get an A, but how long were your papers?

@SW-User Oh, so did you have to write them or could you use word and printer.

@lizzy96 my subject areas didn’t have many papers. We did have computers just not as much online. The exams were all hand written.

@SW-User They are still handwritten a lot nower days too, they want to reduce cheating

@lizzy96 I taught a course a few years ago and the exam was on laptop with a program that locked out the internet. It allowed file access because the exam was open book.

@SW-User My college does have this lock down browser, but many of teachers still do tests on paper,I'm guessing students have figured out aways to go around the lockdown browser.
