How to deal with classroom sounds?

something happened and my college teacher decided that we are no longer allowed phones or music in class. i find it hard to get through without music as I've been relying on sound cancelling earphones for a while now

how do I deal with or prevent myself from getting overwhelmed by the chatter and buzzing lights and pencils scratching? theres nowhere else for me to work

you have to learn
to deal with what we ALL have had to learn, as people across time

noise canceling headphones are nice, I have some!
but not all things are for all time

We are becoming more cut off one from another, as we sink into the isolation of our screen, and or our earbuds. The ability to endure the sounds of a human filled Environment more than just nice it is imperative

the ability to work around others is necessary, and putting it off will make you ever more isolated, than you may already feel

and yeah I hear you say

My future will not require this
