√(2x+3) - √(x+1) = 1

I know the answers are that x= -1, and 3, but I don't know how tf you get 3 because I only get -1. Pls help lol 💀

@Locked Yeah, I got out of bed and tried to find a notebook to explain it in. 😂 Now I'm going to bed for real. Just spent two minutes doing a random maths problem when I don't even do my own homework.

@luvisrage I think there's an app a friend of mine uses. It's apparently pretty good with algebra, radical equations, stuff like that. You scan the problem and it explains it. Photo math or something along those lines. Might be helpful 😁
