Plastic straws are illegal...but what about Capri Sun straws?

Can people in California not drink them anymore?

There is TOO much plastic in the world. Stop the STRAW MADNESS. You don't need them. Can you not carry your own straw that is reusable? Those Capri straws are so freaking tiny. I never buy that anymore. Too hard to stab it through.

There is but California has way bigger issues than their usage of plastic. Maybe they should be resolving some of those first before they ban straws of all things. If they wanted to make an impact on plastic usage they should’ve gone with something else anyways, not just what the liberals cried for. Lot of things made of plastic. Lot of people buying reusable straws in Cali especially(before the ban). I like Capri sun though, so I wonder what their alternative straws will be.

@GlitterBug Maybe attach the damn straw into the pouch and then one can just stab it when opening it. BAN PLASTICS including bags. We do not need them. We are a throwaway society. We need to stop this plastic madness. Seriously.

Plastic bags are already banned in a lot of places. Straws being banned in a place like California is just silly right now. Eventually we’ll have a plastic free world and it’ll be great, but they should be focusing on bigger issues like their drug or homeless problems first, in my opinion.
I wonder if it’s occured to you that right now it would be impossible to live life the way you likely do without plastic. Your car for example has plastic, appliances, basic everyday things, even paint etc. we have to develop more alternatives to actually make that an achievable goal. @PoetryNEmotion
@GlitterBug In my country, we are charge for buying plastic bags. I bring my own reusable cloth ones. I am certainly aware of how much plastic is part of our lives. I am intelligent, young lady. I also know that eliminating plastic bags and straws and other things that can be replaced is a small and necessary step.

Perhaps you could choose a career that would create positive change. Homelessness and other causes are great. You may start small and see what you can do. I am already a catalyst for change in the healthcare field. And that is what I concentrate on mostly. Justice and positive change. Good day to you.
Thank you for best answer. Each of us can make a difference if we try.

I actually drove by the local dump today, it’s windy. Plastic bags EVERYWHERE. Quite depressing. @PoetryNEmotion
