Take advantage of office hours. Start building working relationships with your professors and other students ASAP if you're going to be looking into any kind of research later, or if you're going to need letters of recommendation.

Be safe. If at the library late at night call security got an escort. Don’t think that you would be bothering them. Your tuition is paying their salary. They work for you.

Get involved in at least one activity. It’s a great way to have fun and make friends.

Think about taking advantage of their study abroad programme. I did and spent a great semester in Ireland.

Most important have fun!!

Studies before parties. Not saying not to party. Just make sure your studies are done first and that the parties don't interfere. (Voice of experience. Ended up with 3 degrees but flunked out of my first school)

Keep an open mind, and don't go into it with a definite major in mind. Take a variety of classes, and find out what you're really interested in. :)

Don’t hang out with lowlifes, and make it a point to get enough sleep
For sure, beware if some looser tries to glum on to you - you will never be able to get rid of her.

@MarmeeMarch Yup, I saw way too many ruining their lifes bc they chose to hangout with losers

@lightn stay safe.
Prepare the coffin in advance.

Good luck👀

@lightn Sorry. That’s probably not helpful. What I meant was.. get the best quality coffin. A deluxe silver sterling one should do the trick.

But on a real note, just keep on top of everything and you should be fine. The stress of piled up work can get overwhelming so make sure to plan out studying times.

Small steps, little victories you will get through it just fine.
