It's not just about words and comments, though. Harassment runs much deeper than that. Even if you stop using one site, it migrates to others until you have nowhere left to go. Should victims have to go live under a rock?
Cyber bullying is also often an extension of physical bullying, too - maybe they get beat up in the school yard and come home to this?
@HootyTheNightOwl Am glad am anonymous now on here. But I can see what you saying. I always used to worry police coming down people's homes that do that kind of stuff. I no longer have to worry about that I guess.
@Rob04 I was bullied something awful at school. Back then, I didn't have any internet, but I know that if I had, then it would have ventured into the cyber world too and I would never have had a break from it.
As it is, I was hurting myself and trying to commit suicide from around the same age as you are now. The scars that I bear from that will never fully go away - even now, I still suffer from memories of the things that were said and done to me... 18 years after I left school for the last time.
If it's like this for me, I can't think how bad it must be for children who are also getting bullied in the cyber world as well.
