Not that it means a lot today, imho, cause many Universities etc are just place where you learn to do a job like in the past you would have learned it at the blacksmith shop. Today I see way too many people with a high level of degree but with a very poor and shameful culture.
Like people who attended some kind of Universities...
I personally met many people like this, and I have them in my friend circle (I still love them, but they're just ignorant I can't help it LOL).
People representatives of a high professional status gained thanks to studies (???) but with a almost nonexistent cultural level. When I talk with them of some topics, sometimes I think about talking of the same with my grandparents which have only attended the primary school and they are way more educated... Lot more.

Maybe it's also about the fact my grandparents are really aware of what having a culture means, and they've read a lot, went to theatre, and explored a lot in life, while my friend (Yeah I'm talking about you "C") did't open a single book or newspaper since he attended his degree more than 10 years ago...

It's weird cause it makes me think about the actual level of our Universities... And I also know very educated people that studied in the same places, so, it's just weird. Maybe I should blame previous school levels, but how these people attended the Uni exams?

LOL sorry about this, I supposed to open just a poll, cuz after all I'm curious about Education, as well as I like to ask about other things I find interesting.
So, here we go. 📚

I have a trade which in Canada means you work with your hands at a skilled job.

Mechanic
Machinist

Things of that sort.

I got lucky and knew the right people.

Now I'm working a laid back job living very comfortably.

Hurray for college.

@Teggy Yeah, everyone's different, but the best is finding what's right for you and makes you feel comfortable with yourself while also being able to afford a decent life.
Go Teggy! XD We also have seen some pics of you behind your desk at the "factory" I suppose.
@Sharky86 lol yeah. I'm working as a machinist in the aerospace industry so I cannot complain. 😎
