Any memories of PE class being mixed footwear?

@GkB01 What is this obsession some people have with bare feet? I don't get it. 🤔

@GkB01 Enjoyed? You enjoyed doing PE with no shoes on, regardless of what was on the floor (like stones, broken glass, dog turd, etc)? May I ask why? How could you enjoy that?

@NankerPhelge I enjoyed doing PE in my bare feet inside the school hall or gym. None of the things you mentioned likely to be a danger there. The worst the floor would have been would have been is dusty or slightly dirty from other footwear having walked across it.

@GkB01 Plus the nasty cold surface of the floor.

A slightly chilly surface didn't really concern me or my classmates (for a lot of lessons, many of us if not the whole class would have had bare feet). Keeping moving during the lesson would have kept cold feet warm.
