A Cornell University student delivered her thesis wearing only her bra and underwear in protest of a professor who allegedly questioned her choice of clothing.
Letitia Chai stripped down to her undergarments while presenting in her "Acting in Public" class on Saturday because she wanted to stand up "against oppressive beliefs and discrimination."
This came after Chai and Prof. Rebekah Maggor clashed on Wednesday. Chai was getting up to present a draft of her thesis when Maggor asked, "Is that really what you would wear?"
(on that day she was wearing shorts; she wore the same thing on Saturday before she started stripping)
A male international student in the class made a comment during the discussion that the speaker has a “moral obligation” to her audience to dress conservatively during her thesis presentation, at which point Chai left the room with two students following to comfort her.
i mean i get both sides but at the same time its the professors class. maybe wants you to show how you would be out in the real world during an important meeting. dress for success and all that.
According to reports, the "male international student" spoke up after the professor admonished the student front of her whole class, at which point the student walked out, followed by two other students.
She then cleared her "stripping" for several days later with Cornell officials.

I saw that. I would never do it. I still don't see the point in it. It's like me writing a last minute paper and trying to figure out which distraction I can cause to fill up the time.
