I am disinclined to look at for-profit schools in a positive light, be it University of Phoenix, Strayer, Capella, any of them. Look at your state schools to see if there's an online Master's program, such as the University of Maryland offers with its University College programs. They are held to the same academic standard and accreditation as the on-campus schools, so the programs are known for their merits. Look at some of the online programs from state schools and even some private universities before going the for-profit route as the cost will be less expensive with a traditional university.

Plenty of brick and mortar universities offer online masters. I’d look into those first.

Are any for profit universities worthwhile? I legitimately ask that question. My opinion is that they are not, maybe someone else would disagree

There are others out there that might be just as good. What kind of masters are you looking for?

@SW-User Masters in Education.I read some bad things about the university.I might just go to a school near me.

@OpalFlower I suggest a visit to any local college.
I picked my program then went for an open house. The head of the program didn't do a good job of presenting it and they were very unprepared. I'm delaying a bit.
Best of luck with your search.
