I’m not a professional but my friends who landed top jobs said that they got recruited as they were thorough with the basics and have good communication skills

@SW-User The last person I recruited was very personable, a good combination of confident about what she knew and modest about what she didn't, and eight months on, she's been an absolute star. I wish we could have a hundred of her.

Exactly, these are the type of people I was talking about. I had a question, if a candidate doesn’t know the right answer in an interview, how is he/she supposed to react?

@SW-User Honesty always goes down well. If you don't know something, it's fine to say that you don't. It's as much a test of your character as your knowledge. Knowledge can be learned, character is more difficult to change.
