How do you work this out?

Ben had a mean 82% for three exams.

If he scored 75% and 91% for two of the exams, what was his mark on the third exam?

If the average of 3 tests is 82% then 82 x 3 = 246... so 75 plus 91 equals 166... so the last exam has to equal 246 -166 or 80%

No you did great. I've been practising so much these numeracy questions, while I have gotten better, I still get confused at times. But just got to keep practising.
