What was the most worthless thing they tried to make u learn in high school?

They lost me with geographic proofs and math questions that involved imaginary numbers ( ya know "i" ) which equals negative -1 so I don't get why they don't just say that from the get go

I really can't understand the animosity against math. Of course, I realize different career and life paths emphasize different school subjects. But I've never really needed history, civics or grammar beyond spelling and basic structure in my lives. And I would imagine few people besides school teachers do. People probably learn everything they know about those subjects from movies and TV series anyway ;)

I also hated and never thought it was right that I'm English they'd make you write about the symbolism is a book and how you view it and then tell me my answer is wrong. Like did the author write another book stating exactly what he was saying with the symbolism. No they didnt so maybe youre wrong mr.teacher man

actually iota is the square root of -1, not -1. That is a useful thing IMO.

The most useless thing of all would be history. Example : Julius Caesar

The most useless thing to me was optional subjects that I would not be studying further down.
They lost me in math when the fucking alphabet got involved

@ThatOneMan I love algebra. I started in 3rd and excelled. Was always in advanced classes. Like I took the the N.Y. state regents in 7th grade which most kids take at the end of 10th
@somethingIsuppose Don't get me wrong, I was able to do math no problem, I just hated it :P

Stuff like using a Bunsen burner. What’s that about?
somethingIsuppose · 31-35, F
@PaleandPolluted same with the geographical shit like it's useful like say to an architect the same way a Bunsen burner is relevant to a potential scientist

@somethingIsuppose I think they are just testing a person’s ability to learn....
