Manners, as the have not been taught or learned yet.
Etiquette, not split classes by sex-one class, both sexes.
Home Economics- as households are not just run by woman anymore. There are a lot of stay at home fathers.
Listening to Understand.

Gifted classes- (all A's)

--- Dale Carnegie's How to win friends and influence people

OR

--- Covey's Seven Habits of highly Successful People for HS.
@Elandra77 Manners and Etiquette: wow kids could use those.

Read Dale Carnegies book years ago, very helpful.
@JustLikeGreta In my day and time, in Grade school we WERE taught manners. Girls learned to bow and curtsy- as well as the guys. he was shown how to interlock her arm and she was shown how to take his arm. Taking a coat. properly hanging it, (not lopsided do it stretches). getting a chair for another. We DID learn that. Place settings and how to pace the utensils , American and European styles when done eating. How to converse properly.

And we were better off for it!
@Elandra77 did you go to a private school? I learned manners and etiquette at home.
@JustLikeGreta No . Just a small rural school. (Present day it would be about 8 miles from the Flight 93 crash site) So Somerset County.

At home I learned no manners. it was my grandmother's house and she was born, poor in 1898. And she died poor. When she was 5, in 1903 she was assisting running a farm with her chores. no time for manners- and so she never passed them off to her children. School taught me. And I have those two books. And the 1912 Emily Post book "Etiquette , as well. But I also have two other newer editions.
