I do after school care for kids ages 6-10, and am responsible for the weekly Youth 4 Unity lesson. I have a BSE. Lately, I've been "stuck". Same lesson format, same starting activity. I have the cell number of my former professor, whom I've reached out to before. She taught lesson planning. Do I reach out?

She's amazing- she gave me her cell number on FB when I was dealing with some serious issues with the University, and helped me through.

I guess what matters is I recognized I am in a rut and the lessons are not going as well as I'd like. I am very bad at asking for help.

LOL. She saw me have a meltdown in night class b/c I was not asking for help. Told I hadn't slept in two weeks, she ordered me to leave class, go home, have a drink n go to bed. AFTER we talked about what was going on and why we all need help. She knows...

So I called. She gave great ideas for solutions and ID'd my problems. :) She never did call me back after she put groceries away, so who knows what else we could've come up with. :P
