What form of discipline should school systems use for misbehaving students?

Go back to corporal? Harshers detentions and suspensions? Clean the restrooms?

There needs to be more cooperation between parents and schools. Teachers need to teach, not punish students. Punishment is for parents. Too many parents do not even know how their kids behave in school.
