I would have an endless list... but it depends on what interests YOU...

@drymer It doesn't matter what interests me, it depends on what Students will be interested in and will be able to do, I need something for which I can find a tutorial for them to get an idea on how to make it, yeah it sucks to have to spoon feed every single thing.

So start throwing ideas, Thank you! :)

I have given them volcano, waterfall, Phoenician ships and boat, Acropolis of Athens in Greece, Native American Dreamcatcher and many others but I am drained and out of ideas. :(

Oh so YOU won't be doing the research... Hmmm... From the top of my mind... Impact of immigration in North America in the 19th century and how it shaped the present (demographically, ideologically, etc.)
Well which grade are your students...?
No idea about details (tutorial, etc.) as I'm not a teacher (I just love history and read a lot...)

@drymer Thank you, HOW do you LOVE HISTORY, You must be really really smart then because I doze off, I am not a history teacher just take the burden off from my bro in law and help him with half of his work, he is the History teacher not me fortunately.

Oh, I feel for you, sad... I don't think I like history because "I'm smart", maybe I was lucky that when I was a kid, my dad would *explain* things to me so it all made sense... People hate subjects they don't understand (math, languages, etc) and they don't see a point to it... But then when you start to "get" how things relate, how events and people affect the world we live in, it becomes interesting... History it's just a long, complicated human drama... It's not about years, dates, battles, kings or president names... It's about people's dreams and fears, their flaws, virtues, all spiced with good luck or bad luck... if you look at it that way it becomes interesting...
