Does anyone have any tips for writing a good essay?

I want to write a book report for English, since my grade always ends up bad in it, but I'm bad at writing.
*It only ends up bad because of presentations.*

@fluteacorn I think that's a good way to start. Write a bit about your experiences and or your feelings you had at that moment in time. I think you'll capture your readers attention.
