There's a fine line between "bad" and "so bad that it is hilariously good!"

One of my favorites in the latter category is an old horror film called "The Creeping Terror." It is much worse (better?) than Plan Nine From Outer Space.
@DrWatson Truth is, I've only seen bits of Plan 9. BUT!

Plan 9 is the only movie that has ever given its name to a computer operating system!!

@DrWatson @ElwoodBlues Plan 9 made the list on this documentary, as did "Glen or Glenda ?"

@bijouxbroussard I LOVE "Glen or Glenda" for its low-budget amateurishness. Have you seen the movie "Ed Wood?" (A great movie about a guy who made bad movies.) They do a recreation of the last scene of G&G -- it's hilarious watching good actors earnestly mimicking bad actors in that scene.

@DrWatson My beef with the movie Ed Wood was the way Bela Lugosi was portrayed.
Now, because of the film, many think Lugosi was a foul mouthed old man and that is simply not true, but see any discussions about Wood or Bela, and here come the vulgar dialog quotes.
@DrWatson that guy who stars in The Creeping Terror also produced the film. He took a lot of money from investors, made that $3.95 monster movie, and then disappeared with the rest of the money. It turns out he used a fake name. He has never been seen or heard from again.

Ironically he inadvertently made a cult classic.

@robingoodfellow Wow. And was he the one who made the post-production decision to cover up so much of the actors' dialog (which was probably terrible) with the voice of a narrator?

That was one of the most hilarious aspects of the film for me.
@DrWatson " The monster then proceeded to lover's lane...."
Priceless.
