i remember it .was such a tragedy and ugly time in america.... but you were in our thoughts and prayers 🙏

@beermeplease Yes. I was at work when we got the news and one of our colleagues was originally from Oklahoma City, and had gone home to visit family. We were all panicking until she called us and let us know she was okay.
I may just not have been aware, but I don’t remember anyone protesting when Timothy McVeigh was executed.

@bijouxbroussard i have a friend who has a friend who worked in one of the wtc towers on 9/11....she was a mess when she had no idea how her well being was. thankfully she got out safe...but we still grief from all the other losses. 🫂

@beermeplease My cousin worked in the North Tower and a co-worker had asked him to exchange vacation days. Because of that, the co-worker was there on 9/11 and my cousin was safely at home. 🥺

@beermeplease I’m on PST, so that was the time here, too. I had the day off, but was in bed watching the news when it was interrupted with coverage from New York.

@bijouxbroussard No such thing as fate and destiny eh Survivors guilt is something Ive only just sarted having to deal with really...

@Captain My cousin had such a difficult time with that, even though he hadn’t initiated the trade. He gave up that previous Friday so the co-worker could use it to attend an upstate wedding. My cousin took his day off, a Tuesday—9/11.

@bijouxbroussard Im not so sure having discovered Wheelers single electron theory of the universe. What if time is just a human ccontruct and we are really all of our past and all of our future and as we change our future our pas chnages as well so although we are never aware of it, we can change our future and that changes iur past but we are always in all of those moments. That would explain all of the metaphysical moments Ive ever epxerienced and why we have this innte belief that our soul doesnt die. They apparntly do have experimental evidence that the positron does apper to move bckwards through time form experiments useing shift registers - Ive not read the paper scientific paper but the findings were covered in the footnotes of newspapers. That is a really big deal if its true...
