I watched this on Paramount + last night. It really affected me.

It's so sad. In the end, she just wanted him to show even the tiniest bit of remorse. He never did. And, she didn't want him be put to death. She wanted him to find God so that he could see her again one day (in Heaven). She was such a good person. I can only imagine how that must feel --- watching the man you love try to kill you. Then, she cried when she thought about him being in jail.

It eye-opening. It's so scary to think about falling in love with someone who can't love back. Women often confuse love and control. And, many of these men aren't covered in tattoos. Many of them don't have a 5-page rap sheet with [b]multiple[/b] counts of domestic violence and aggravated menacing. If I ever meet a man with those charges, I'm definitely going the other way. However, many times it's not that clear.

As much as my ex broke me, I wish him no harm, if anything I feel sorry for him, he’s just damaged.

@Fairydust Yeah. That seems to be normal for the women. It only makes those situations more sad to watch or hear about.

@Fairydust Looking at this case is so different for me. He killed her, and he never cared. He never shed a tear. He never apologized to her for any part in it. He never cared that she died or that he was the cause of her death. And, his rap sheet was absolutely unreal. If you do watch it, watch all the way until the end when the detective goes over his criminal history. It's scary. He simply doesn't care about other people. He might be one of those abusers that's actually a psychopath.
