This series is definitely eye opening, though it cannot be called a documentary based on the definition of the word:

noun 1. a movie or a television or radio program that provides a factual record or report.

The material discussed in the series doesn't come close to being factual, so it cannot be called a documentary.
Rarely has so much bullshit been present in one place at one time.
