if you see people looking at you in public, how should you respond

i sometimes think people treat me 'different' to everyone else, i see people in local community looking at me....hear people laughing as they walk by me and it makes me really paranoid and annoyed, as i take myself seriously and don't like to laugh hardly.

this behaviour by others has been happening for years now, how should i deal with it?

It's better to not give in to thoughts of paranoia. They are likely not laughing at you at all. They're not doing anything wrong and neither are you. The best way to deal with it is inaction.
