Any GHOSTERS among us? Why do they do it... (Is it a power trip?)

I'm sure both men and women have been there, though I wonder what the proportions are... It's such a ridiculous thing to do, but maybe that's from someone, i.e., me, who doesn't go out of my way to about just wantomly hurting someone. Why do people ghost? What's in it for the ghoster? Whatdya think, eh, people of SW? (asking for a friend!)

If I disappear there’s usually a personal reason and I don’t feel like the person who is expecting to hear from me really cares or would be supportive. I don’t feel like explaining myself. It’d be nice to deal and then come back like hey I was going through something, but people act like you owe them before trust is even built.

It's just easier for them it's laziness

They just want out without being questioned and they are either cowards or have something to hide or are just not interested/ turned off for some reason and have gone completely cold
