Full meltdown 😵

My son had a full meltdown today in the shopping centre he just layed on the floor and refused to move, over a silly toy,,he wants every single toy and game even when I explained it to him ahead that we won't buy everything and even though I just bought him many other toys, and paid for several rides and a huge ice cream cone, but he still wants it, anyways I pretended to leave and it didn't work, so I tried to carry him and leave but I had to many things in my hands, and he was too heavy, I refuse to cave in specially after my husband gave me a long lecture about how I was rewarding his bad behaviour which made him do it everyday, he did this in several shops and I still refuse I still spent a lot of money in the games but I feel like I won't eventually because he stopped the meltdown and followed me eventually, even though I didn't get what I wanted and I ended up spending way more than I budgeted,,,probably won't be going out together for a while but I think we had a good time.
