Ohhhhh Lord!!!

Now they arrest you in Scotland for even using mean words? I get it that what he said was inappropriate and hurtful, but really...they have made it a crime to say such things?

I've had mean things said to me throughout my life, and I'm sure most people have heard mean words directed at them, but it wasn't criminal or an offense that got you arrested.

Wo! This is damn scary!

@Rex, it may surprise you to know that I don't have a horse in this race. I have no agenda. You are accusing me of manipulation. I have no idea what I'm supposed to be manipulating.

Here is where I am coming from: I was born and raised in the UK. Never, did I hear of any arrests, in almost 37-years of my life there, for saying mean things. Now you say he barred them from the bus, but if you read the story, it says they were sitting on the bus while he verbally abused them. Of course he was out of line. He should not be doing that job. Even if they weren't gay, he should be fired for being abusive. But...a crime? No.

The U.K. has just about criminalized sneezing in public, or will do at this rate.

This post is my opinion and feelings about what has become of my motherland since I left. Freedom of speech has been eroded. The thought police are everywhere it seems.
