Ohhhhh Lord!!!

Now they arrest you in Scotland for even using mean words? I get it that what he said was inappropriate and hurtful, but really...they have made it a crime to say such things?

I've had mean things said to me throughout my life, and I'm sure most people have heard mean words directed at them, but it wasn't criminal or an offense that got you arrested.

Wo! This is damn scary!

I agree with you BATOVN, fire him from his job because he is representing the bus company, and you don't insult any customer like that, for any reason. He was definitely out of line.

At A7, do you live in Britain? I think British people of today have been brainwashed into extreme political correctness. I saw the start of it in the late 1980s/1990 just before I left the country to live in the US.

I know they now have laws where you can't even argue with someone in public. It wasn't like that when I lived there. It's changed so much. When I go back for a visit, I feel like I'm in a foreign country.

I do understand that if you are brought up with rules in a culture, then that is your paradigm of the world. You become as much a product of society as anyone else, even if it's the same country at different times.
