you will never stop criminals entirely because that is the nature of criminality. however, by taking guns off the streets, you make it as impossible as is realistic for them to get their hands on them. so impossible that your police do not need to be armed. as impossible as it is here in the UK. if we can do it then so can you. you just don't want to. it's really that simple. you like having guns because it makes you feel tough!
