I Hate Political Correctness

Well, it looks like the old Political Correctness is out the window. Lets not worry about the Politics, the economy, international relations etc. If the Majority of Voting Americans elect a man who sexually objectifies women, insults minority groups, makes derogatory comments about other countries then it looks like the pansy like political correctness of the past few decades may be in for a shake up.

This is what your brave new world looks like.

1. the report is not verified.
2. Bigotry has nothing to do with Conservatism
3. this was not about the election

The easiest thing in the world is to deny bigotry when it doesn't personally affect you. Trump has given great power and courage to the most hateful people in America. Just go to http://www.kkkknights.com/ and read about the celebrations they have planned.

@TyphoidJerry: The KKK has nothing to do with Trump, Republicans or conservatives.

The KKK acts independently. this is dispositive of nothing.

Hey here's more! I'm sure this isn't Trump's fault either. He was just anti-establishment.

@TyphoidJerry: What do children have to do with anything?

The problem here Gentlemen is that DT appealed to the fears (quite genuine in the most part) of a large part of the population. Then we have the multiplication factor. Genuine concerns x hyperbole x selective media coverage x special interest groups = a supposed endorsement of un-civilised behavior . Which of course if covered by the mass media. (This formula needs more work though but I am sure you get my drift.)
Personally I would love to see some of the Political correctness rolled back. As I said to some one this morning. There should be room in Society for a little bigotry, BUT you still need to treat the other people as human beings and give them respect accordingly. ie. I should be free to say "I don't like Muslims as a group, because they are doing certain things to our society" and then discuss those issues openly and with human respect. But it would go way to far to say "I hate Muslims" then go and violently attack them.
If we live in a civilised society we should be able to tolerate those with different ideals and morals, and with out violence or persecution or fear mongering.

@HoraceGreenley: What I've been telling you again and again is that Trump has enabled bigotry. You may not be a bigot, your brand of conservatism may take no issue with gay people, or latinos, or whomever. But your actions do say you don't care about them when they suffer. Here's another one.

I can do this all day. And you can deny every single instance of hate against marginalized groups as 'not real conservatism'. But it's happening and you fucking voted for it. If conservatism isn't about bigotry, then stand up against the bigots and fight against homophobia and racism that is actually happening. Show you care.

@TyphoidJerry: this is absurd:

1. You have referenced a blog. this is opinion.
2. We don't know yet who will be hired in Trump's administration
3. We don't yet know what Trump's administration will or will not do

Until something actually happens, you are dealing with conjecture.

It matters nothing that you can do this all day. Trump, his administration, his supporters haven't done anything yet.
