Does anyone like the sound of their recorded voice?

Or at least do you mind it?

I hate mine. The other day a child told me I sound like a man. I do have a deeper voice. I wasn’t insulted. But I do hate hearing it in recordings.

Not really. I downloaded an app that allows me to test the microphones on headsets and earbuds. I am starting to get use to it now, but as you mentioned, always shocked at first.
