Referring to girls and women as "females" rather than well, "girls or women”

Seems a bit dehumanizing. Girls and women are human beings, but not all "females" are.

Just a thought.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if males were referred to like that regularly

@SW-User They tend to be in the UK. I think that started before women and girls were referred to as females so the latter was just a reaction.
