I Believe That People Should Mind Their Own Business

This is something that has been bothering me over the last few days. So, a bird shit on my car, which I realise doesn't look nice, but to be honest it's not been my priority to get it cleaned because I have a lot going on in my mind, and have toothache, so after work I shut down and don't think about my car. The receptionist at work doesn't know me, she doesn't know what other things are taking priority in my life at the moment, yet she thinks it's ok to say my car looks scruffy, and ask me daily if I've had it cleaned yet!! No, I haven't had it cleaned because once I leave work I just want to go home as I have a lot on my mind, I feel drained, and I don't even think about how my car looks. Also, I'm an adult and don't need someone telling me that I should clean my car. I try to avoid the receptionist now by using the back door of the building!

Not to be telling you your business, but theres a better reason for cleaning bird droppings off your car than the pettiness of some receptionist. Bird droppings damage your car's paint. The longer it stays on, the worse the damage.

@RebeccaJP: you can easily just spot clean when you get a bird dropping on your car. Not for the petty B who annoys you, but for your own sake.

Warm water
All you need
Soak a paper towel in warm water...cover and pat down ..leave on for a few minutes
Wash off with a fresh paper towel soaked in warm water

If you do it as soon as you notice it, it comes off easily and you save yourself the damage to the paint as well as the time and trouble of washing the car.
