Why is this YouTuber calling himself southern life when he hates other southern states other than Florida, isn't Florida a southern state too?

Well I don’t think much of Florida was occupied by Americans if I recall history. Parts of Florida like Orlando area was the only safe haven to African Americans south of the mason-Dixion line. If we are talking geography it is a southern state.
